This beautiful old colonial Napa Valley Inn was built by the Rumble family in the summer of 1906. Rumble was a tradesman in the lath and plaster business in San Francisco. After the 1906 earth-quake Rumble moved his family to the Napa Valley to be safe and close to a family member who worked at the Sawyer Tannery down by the Napa River. The Arbor Guest House bed and breakfast and its spacious grounds became a B & B in 1983. In 1994 the Arbor Guest House received the prestigious Chamber of Commerce Award for the most improved historical home in the Napa area.
